Kenkyukai KarateUSA Sylabus
Since 1962 Shorin-Ryu Karate USA has developed and evolved into a full training program for anyone interested in learning karate and kobudo. We teach Success and Martial Arts,
..to reach this goal we have two basic programs One is for all Adults the Second is for all children ages 5 years and older.
Karate USA has a black belt achievement program designed for you.
The black belt is only the first step in achieving success in life. Resolution to become anything you want begins here.
We Teach Traditional Karate
Our program is taught by instructors prepared in the Old Fashioned way of learning. Discipline and Hard Work are the only ways to achieve success.
Karate-do is first about Respect... for Family, for Work and for Country. The First and Last Rule is "Always show courtesy to all" Goodevening Sensei !!!!
Commitment is necessary, set you goal...we will provide you with all that is required to learn at your own pace. There is No competition, it is only about you, commited to work one day at a time.

Shihan-Te An Old Tradition
Kancho Terry Maccarrone 8th Dan Black Belt Instructor received his original training from Patriarch Ansei Ueshiro, Hanshi of Shorin-Ryu Karate USA. In 2001 Sensei Maccarrone was given the "kancho" head of family title for his work and leadership teaching over 200 black belts. Many now have their own schools and some their own separate organization.
In 1992 Sensei Maccarrone was awarded 7th Dan Kyoshi from Master Ansei Ueshiro and renamed the new Patchogue Dojo Yushin-Kan...building noble spirit.
Ansei Ueshiro arrived in the USA in September 1962 and eventually created his own American organization.
Many very prominent karate masters in America got their start from his teaching.
The old tradition of passing down from one generation to the next Shihan-Te is represented here at our Dojo.
